Our collaborative cookie, Tiff is Zebra & I'm dots.
To celebrate Valentines Day this year my very very wonderful friend Tiffini and I decided to bake and assemble cookie boquets for our non-existing boyfriends. We gathered the supplies, two different sugar cookie recipes, a royal icing recipe, our best cooking moods, and the current gossip and got down to baking! In the midst of our baking we had to break for dinner at Aunt Ruthies, tacos, which is something niether I nor Tiffi can turn down. Five hours, two tacos, a game of Apples to Apples, an intense game of Phase Ten, and countless insults later we decided we should head back home. The original plan was to stop at wal-mart and pick up a pot and some oreo cookies (dirt) for our bouquets. We didn't take in to account that Wal-Mart closes at 11 in our poor town. So our cookie bouquets turned in to just cookies on sticks, which was just as adorable and heartfelt. After two hours of decorating, and coming to the conclusion that we have the combined talent of a five year old, these were the results.
